Changiz Sadr is an accomplished Telecommunications Engineer, a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, and a Distinguished Fellow of Engineers Canada. With a strong background in Communications Infrastructure Engineering and Cyber Security, he has made significant contributions to the field throughout his career.

Changiz holds prominent positions within the industry, currently serving as a member of the Advisory Board and Chief Compliance Officer of the Cyber Security Global Alliance (CSGA). He has also been appointed to prestigious roles on the Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board, the Board of Engineers Canada, and the Council of Professional Engineers Ontario.

His expertise and dedication have earned him numerous professional achievement awards. Notably, he was recognized as the Most Dedicated Communications Engineering Consultant in Ontario at the Corporate Vision Magazine's Canadian Business Awards in 2019. Additionally, he was a finalist for the Industry Excellence Award for Telecom Professional of the Year in 2008 by the Association of Telecom, Mobility, and IT Management Professionals.

Changiz’s notable contributions extend beyond his professional achievements. He played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Communications Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) discipline in Ontario. As the vice chair of the Communications Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) group and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Emerging Disciplines Task Force of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), He led the development of the Core Body of Knowledge (CBK) for CIE, ultimately resulting in its recognition as the 32nd engineering discipline in Ontario.

Throughout his extensive tenure, Changiz has demonstrated his commitment to the engineering profession through his involvement in various leadership roles and committees. He served on the PEO Council from 2013 to 2017, where he contributed to the Executive Committee and chaired the Regional Councillors Committee. His valuable contributions also extend to other committees, including the Finance, Audit, Discipline, and Experience Requirements Committee (ERC). Furthermore, he dedicated

four years to the Council of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

Changiz’s unwavering dedication to community service has been recognized with several prestigious awards. These include the Canada Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers and the Willowdale 150 Commemorative Medal in 2019, as well as multiple Ontario Volunteer Service Awards spanning from 2009 to 2020. In addition, he has been honoured with two PEO's Order of Honour Awards, receiving the Member Distinction in 2011 and Officer Distinction in 2018.
